I also have the TR2500BC. I have used this machine off/on for the last year or so but keeping it operating properly is really a challenge. Had several parts break and finally decided the best place for this thing is the trash can.
I would definitely NOT RECOMMEND this breadmaker!

I bought a TR2500BC breadmaker and the last few weeks I kept getting dark spots in the dough. Couldn't figure out where they came from. Well, today I found out. It seems whatever holds the shaft that turns the paddle in the breadbasket just disintegrated because the shaft fell out of the basket. The thing is useless now.

I bought a Cusinart Bread Machine and used it about once a month. After six months (or six uses), the programming stopped working. They sent me a new one (an older model), and it just stopped working the first time I used it at the hand stir time. You have to pay for shipping yourself to get the thing fixed. I am looking for a refund from Costco and a different brand. I have also bought two Cusinart toasters from Costco and they both stopped working in about one year from purchase.

I've been using this machine about once a week for over a year. My only complaint is that the signals are not loud enough. That's especially annoying when making bread with add-ins, such as cinnamon raisin bread. However, the kneading and baking aspects are great!

I had two of these and feel stupid for trying the second. The first vibrated itself off the counter. It had a major problem of the mixing paddle sticking tightly in its bearing and it was very noisy.

The replacement second was much worse. It was defective initially but replaced. The replacement was just as noisy and the pan kept being pushed up out if its cheap clips thus ruining the loaf. This pan clip design is horrible. This machine only lasted several months.

I now have the Panasonic SD-YD250 and it has been superb for the several months I have owned it. Also, very quiet.

Cuisinart CBK-200 is a good bread maker as long as it lasts, I have had mine for 2 years and the drive cogs underneath the machine that drives the beater are PLASTIC.
I called Cuisinart and they told me " The bread maker is not repairable and must be replaced".
All I have to say about this that they are cheaply made (probably in China) and and interior parts are NOT available.
Consumer beware !!!
