Zojirushi BB-CEC20 Bread Machine Reviews:

When researching this product we found over 200 reviews online and an overwhelming majority were extremely positive which is usually the case with any Zojirushi machine.  At a price point that comes in around $240 the BB-CEC20 Home Bakery Supreme Breadmaker is pretty expensive but it is a high quality and very well built machine.  It also produces consistent results so even a novice can make great bread every time.  The machine preheats so that you do not need to control the temperature of various ingredients which could effect your end result.  Many people also commented about how quiet this machine is.

One of the negative things that a reviewer pointed out is that the BB-CEC20 is nearly identical to the BBCCX20 which also happens to be a little less expensive but not available to purchase anymore. It looks like Zojirushi has replaced the old BBCC-X20 with the new BB-CEC20.

Both machines have great reviews, which isn’t suprising if they are in fact the same machine with the only difference being the outside color.  Although there were a smaller number of reviews for the BB-CEC20 (all very positive) there were hundreds of reviews for the very similar BBCCX20 model and the overwhelming majority of the reviews for this machine were quite positive as well. The BBC-CEC is the newer version of the popular BBCC-X20 and now gets our number one pick recommendation.

In our experience, after reviewing many Zojirushi breadmakers, you simply can’t go wrong with a Zojirushi machine.  They will be a little more expensive than other machines but they are high quality, durable machines that last for many years and will continue to help you make delicious bread for a long time.

I have to agree with your statement about zojirushi being a little more expensive, but they are definitely worth it. In our own testing, we have found zojirushi to ultimately be more reliable and dependable, while producing a higher quality bread.

The West Bend Hi-Riser is my first ever bread machine. I truly contemplated on the purchase of the zojirushi but being a novice I am going to walk before I run. I hope I do make mistakes and learn from them. When I feel I get to a point that I have a good idea about bread machines I may invest in the zojirushi or just stay with my West Bend.I am retired now and I am doing breadmaking in a machine as a hobby.

Over the years I’ve tried a few breadmachines. My first was a Jojirushi. The others I tried honestly couldn’t match it in quality, construction and reliability! I now have and use at least once or twice a week the newest Jojirushi and ALWAYS recommend it to everyone who asks me what they should buy. Every person who has asked and bought one has always thanked me many times over – they love theirs!! The great part of a Jojirushi is that you don’t have to be an expert to own and use it…but you don’t have to tell your guests that! *smile*

I owned the BB-CEC20 for 6 weeks. It never made a loaf with the proper crust. All crusts were not browned. I was lucky, I was able to send it back. Read other reviews with the same problem at: consumersearch.com/bread-machines, before you punk down all that money!!
